Technical Training “Preparation of e-materials” in Valencia (Spain)

The fourth face-to-face Technical Training of the EAGLE project, entitled “Preparation of e-materials”, was successfully held at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain, from 13 to 17 January 2026.

This training activity, carried out within 4.1-Deliver of training in e-learning platform and materials, was specifically designed to strengthen the capacities of local partners in the design, development, and evaluation of digital learning materials for e-learning environments.

Throughout the week, participants worked on defining course objectives, creating generic content descriptors, and developing e-learning tools, ensuring consistency with modern pedagogical standards for online and hybrid education. Special emphasis was placed on assessment methodologies in e-learning, addressing how to effectively evaluate students’ learning experiences in virtual environments.

The technical program combined theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions, delivered by experienced UPV staff.

On Wednesday, 14 January, participants attended sessions on creating content in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools, as well as a lecture on evaluation in e-learning, led by Susana Martínez and Pilar Cáceres. The day concluded with a session at the Institute of Education Sciences, focusing on learning objects and online teaching programmes.

On Thursday, 15 January, the training moved to the UPV recording studios, where Pablo Soler introduced participants to the university’s Polimedia recording systems. These practical sessions allowed partners to gain firsthand experience in creating and recording high-quality educational materials tailored for online platforms.

This technical training represented a key milestone for the EAGLE project, reinforcing partners’ skills in digital education, instructional design, and multimedia content production, and contributing directly to the development of high-quality online learning resources for the project’s future training activities.
