On October 16, 2025, Prof. Luis Ángel Ruiz from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and coordinator of the Erasmus+ EAGLE Project, took part as a speaker in the “Erasmus+ Stakeholder Meeting – Fostering Peace through Inclusive and Sustainable Exchanges”, organized by the European Commission and the Erasmus+ National Focal Points Network (ENFP).
In his presentation, Prof. Ruiz introduced the EAGLE Project, highlighting its mission to strengthen digital infrastructures and e-learning programs in universities across Kenya, Sudan, and South Sudan. He emphasized how e-learning can serve as a driver for inclusion, resilience, and cooperation, enabling access to education in regions affected by conflict and limited connectivity.
The online event gathered Erasmus+ stakeholders from around the world to exchange experiences on academic mobility, digital innovation, and education for peace, positioning EAGLE as a reference of how technology and European collaboration can foster inclusive and sustainable higher education in challenging environments.
