Comboni College of Science and Technology organized a webinar to introduce College staff in the EAGLE project. The webinar was honoured with the support and the presence of different personalities like the Ambassador of Sudan to Spain, H.E. Maha Ayoub, the Ambassador of Spain to Sudan with competence on Eritrea and South Sudan, H.E. Isidro Antonio González Afonso, Mr. Allajabu Dafaallah Khamis, representative of the Ministry of Universities, Science and Technology of the Republic of South Sudan, Mr. Emmanuel Sabino, representative of the cultural attaché of the Embassy of South Sudan to Sudan, representatives of UPV, the university that coordinates the project, and the different partners of the project.
The project was presented in the framework of the Erasmus Program general, which is well-known in Europe but not as much in Africa.
The participants underlined the opportunity of this project for Sudanese universities in a particular way as the war started on April 15, 2023, is still in progress. In fact, the project should support universities in conflict areas to give continuity to their academic activities through their digital transformation.
